TECANET is now registered! (17 March 2009)
TECANET is now a fully registered organization with the District Administration Office of Kathmandu effectively from March 12, 2009 (B. S. 2065 Falgun 29). This will now enable TECANET to conduct formal events and activities apart from those that we have been conducting as an informal network since 2004.
With the registration of the TECANET, one of the objectives of the Ad hoc Committee is achieved. We thank and acknowledge the support of advocate Mr. Bhabiswor Gurung in the registration process of TECANET. We also thank Prabin Gurung for designing the new letterhead of TECANET.
We encourage all Tamu professionals, especially youth to come forward and take the leadership of TECANET with new spirit and innovation in the coming days. Given the changed context of Nepal and the transitional situation that this country is going through, we strongly believe that there are ample opportunities where networking organizations like TECANET could take a leading role. The Executive members of the Ad hoc Committee will continue to support the new leadership always.
